Episode 1 - Katie discovers the dip
1. What is a dip?
When you start doing something your excited. But then you get frustrated and you just want to quit. That's the dip.
2. Where/what situations might we encounter a dip in?
If you are writing a book it usually goes pretty good in the beginning, but after a while you get stuck and don't know how to continue.
3. What kind of emotions accompany a dip, and how can we stay positive?
You get frustrated, angry and sad. If you're thinking that it's just a dip that will pass, then it's easier to stay positive.
Episode 2 - Climbing out of the dip
1. What should you do when you make a mistake?
You should stop and reflect over your mistake and stay positive and think of what you can do better next time.
2. What will happen if you continue to repeat this process? Try using the word "neuron" in your explanation.
If you don't. If you just try to continue and stay positive even when you make a mistake, the neurons will get much stronger, all because you stopped to reflect to your mistakes.
3. So how do we escape the dip?
If you for example paint a picture, you have to look at your work and think really hard how to make it better. If you reflect all the time you will get out of the dip.
Episode 3 - The big show
1. How does it feel to escape the dip? Can you have more than one dip?
It feels good to escape the dip. You can han many dips but if you always reflect to your work, you will always get past the dip.
2. Often we want to be the best at what we are doing. Instead of comparing our success with others, what kind of attitude can we have?
If you ask the person that did a better work than you what he/she did, it can make your own work better the next time. You shouldn't compare yourself to others, instead you should learn from others and maybe use that for your own work. Maybe that will make your own work better.
3. In the video, Mojomus Edison says that failing is "learning new ways to improve." What does that mean?
If you try something and fail and then try again, you won't do that mistake again. That will make your work better than the last time. Then your one step closer to reach your goal.
